— Bénédictin anglais ; il reçut son éducation au Collège anglais à Douai et, en 1615, fit profession au monastère de Saint-Laurent de Dieulouard (Lorraine). De 1641 à 1642 il fut supérieur et maître des novices au monastère de La Celle. Il mourut à Paris en 1651. Weldon atteste de lui qu'il fut un promoteur de la discipline régulière et qu'il traduisit en anglais un grand nombre d'ouvrages de piété (Chronological notes, 188, append. 15). On connaît de lui : A heavenly treasure of confortable meditations and prayers written by S. Augustin, bishop of Hyppon, Saint-Omer, 1624.— A hive of sacred honie-combes, containing most sweet heavenly counsel, taken out of the works of the mellifluous doctor S.
